Part of the Luxury Collection brand offering by Starwood Hotels, Pine Cliffs offers a range of different accommodation and holiday options (see below). The leisure facilities in the resort include a nine hole golf course with state of the art golfing academy; the Porto Pirate kids club (April - October), a fabulous facility which features not one, but two life-size pirate ships; plus several pools, a tennis academy and numerous restaurants. There is also a wellness spa, a full-facility fitness centre*, complete with indoor pool, and boutiques, a supermarket and a hair and beauty salon, all on site.

High speed internet can be found throughout Pine Cliffs, including in your accommodation. The resort is gated, and offers 24 hour security for you comfort and peace of mind. The resort concierge at reception can offer information on the many places to visit in the region and the resort itself, and will be delighted to assist you with any other holiday needs during your stay.

In brief, Pine Cliffs envelopes you in a world filled with the very best life has to offer. The resort makes beautiful use of the scenery and natural landscape around it, hiding many of its facilities under the stunning green canopy of local umbrella pines; an environment which means that it feels like there is always some new delight to discover just around the corner.

* Note that the hotel at the heart of the resort, the Sheraton Algarve Hotel, is undergoing refurbishment until late June 2015, so the Health Centre (including the indoor pool), wellness centre, games room and junior club have all been relocated, while two of the outdoor pools and some of the restaurants and bars within the hotel itself will be closed during that time. Since we don't offer accommodation in the hotel itself, our guests should not be affected, but please do call us for further details if you are unsure.

Sunbound Villas have three types of accommodation available for holiday rental at Pine Cliffs.

Holiday apartment suites - In Pine Cliffs Residences, some of our suites are primed for golf, others not. These spacious and beautiful self-contained apartments feature their own fully-specified kitchen, access to all the amenities of the resort, 24 hour room service and the maid service. Most have a private balcony - perfect for al fresco dining in the Algarve's wonderfully long sunny season.

Townhouses - Located in Pine Cliffs Village, another part of the resort, the townhouses offer detached and secluded accommodation. Again guests here will have access to all the facilities of the resort, including the maid service. Nestled in the trees, our townhouses are peaceful and private. Perfect for that holiday retreat you've been dreaming of!

Private luxury villas - Also in the Pine Cliffs Village resort, our villas offer the epitome of luxury. They are larger than the townhouses, and often feature a private pool and barbeque area. These properties leave no stone unturned in their stylish features and comfort, making them the pinnacle of all that the Pine Cliffs resort has to offer. Again, guests staying in our villas will have full access to everything they require at and from the resort.

Pine Cliffs has exclusive access to the stunningly beautiful several mile long beach of Praia da Falesia. Access to the beach is via a series of long wooden steps through golden-red and white cliffs, which are dotted with umbrella pines. From there you will take a lift down to the beach itself where there is a concession run by the resort and a fantastic water sports centre. For those who want to fully relax and while away the hours with a good book, sun loungers, beach towels and sunshades are available during the peak season from April to October. Meanwhile, for the more active, the water sports centre offers an extensive range of activities including (but not limited to): Surfing, Body boarding, Windsurfing, Water-skiing, Kayaking, Sail boat tours and Jet Ski. You can take lessons here or hire equipment for activities with which you are already familiar.

Praia da Falesia has been awarded a rare European Gold Star for superior cleanliness and attention to conserving the local environment. The Atlantic Ocean here is a beautiful azure and the pure water is perfect for snorkelling, swimming or just splashing about.
