Villa Lake is a recently renovated three-bedroom villa with a private pool and a children's pool in Lakeside Village, Quinta do Lago. The lake, restaurants and the Campus sports centre are all within walking distance, and a path from the garden leads to the lake, so it suits families with young children. Inside. The kitchen has a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and ice machine, and a sliding door opens to the dining area, with seating for six and patio doors to the pool terrace. A few steps down, the lounge has a fireplace and a large flat-screen TV with English channels including Sky Sports. Bedroom one, on the entrance level, is a double with a separate shower room. Upstairs, a twin and a double each have an en-suite shower room and share an upper terrace with lake views. All three bedrooms have air-conditioning, and the first two have fitted wardrobes. Wi-Fi is included. Outside. A 9 × 5 m pool (heating available at extra cost) with a 2 × 2 m children's pool and an outdoor shower, a manicured garden, sun loungers, a gas barbecue and a dining table for six. The roof terrace has sofas and views of the lake. Nearby. Lakeside Village has a communal pool and free tennis courts. The Quinta do Lago and Ancão beaches, with water sports, are a short distance away, as is the Ria Formosa nature reserve. Faro airport is about 20 minutes by car. Good to know. Maid service once a week is included, with towels and linen changed after seven nights; pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided. Air-conditioning costs extra. There is building work across the road, which usually stops in July and August.
